Pojawiła się ona w średniowiecznym manuskrypcie "The Red Book of Ossory" spisanym w mieście Kilkenny w 1324 roku.
Whiskey powstała we współpracy z Kilkenny Whiskey Guild oraz renomowaną francuską winiarnią Chateau La Nerthe - jedną z najstarszych posiadłości w słynnej apelacji Chateauneuf-du-Pape w Dolinie Rodanu.
Po początkowym dojrzewaniu w beczkach po bourbonie i sherry, whiskey poddano finiszowi w beczkach po winie Chateauneuf-du-Pape z Chateau La Nerthe, przez okres 15 miesięcy. Trunek zabutelkowano z mocą 46%, w naturalnym kolorze, bez filtracji na zimno.
Zapach: aromaty czerwonych i czarnych owoców, z delikatnymi akcentami lukrecji, skóry i dębu
Smak: kremowy, lekko ziemisty, z nutami słodkich brzoskwiń, jeżyn, czekolady, lukrecji i liścia laurowego
