Meikle Toir 5 yo The Sherry One to 5-letnia torfowa whisky single malt z destylarni GlenAllachie. Początkowo leżakowana w beczkach z amerykańskiego dębu, a następnie w beczkach typu puncheon po sherry Oloroso i Pedro Ximenez. Długa, trwająca 160 godzin fermentacja, torf z okolic St. Fergus i zastosowane beczki dały zbalansowaną whisky z dobrą równowagą pomiędzy ciemnymi owocami, kawą, melasą i kłębami, ziemistego, torfowego dymu.
Zawartość fenoli w alkoholu wynosi 35 ppm fenoli. Whisky zabutelkowano w naturalnym kolorze, bez filtracji na zimno, z mocą 48%.
Zapach: aromaty drzewa cedrowego, pudełka po cygarach, toffi, kawy, skórki pomarańczowej z nutami miodu i powideł śliwkowych.
Smak: ciemna czekolada, wędzony miód i nuty kawy a następnie syrop figowy, melasę, palony cukier i kłęby torfowego dymu.
